A total pleasure. Thanks to many talented AWFC members including our outstanding curator (AWFC founder Miriam Cutler) and the AWFC composers (including faculty member Michelle Sudduth) who are participating in 2023!

The Alliance for Women Film Composers’s inaugural Film Music Mixer during TIFF was a fantastic success! It was wonderful to come together to celebrate the vibrant community of women, women-identifying and underrepresented voices in the film industry - carving out space to continue the conversation and appreciation of diverse creatives. Originally from Toronto, leading and facilitating this event was very meaningful for Alexandra Petkovski. Based on the wide support and feedback, it is safe to say there will be more events in the future like it!
