Connor Cook fell in love with film music at the age of nine. She was completely enchanted by John Williams and has spent her life since this age learning the skills required to be a composer for film and television. She started piano lessons as a young child and picked up folk music and instruments along the way. Connor plays accordion, mandolin, DADGAD guitar, and banjo. She has worked on around 40 shorts, features, TV shows, musicals, and experimental animation projects. She got her BM in Music Theory and Composition from Appalachian State University in 2014. She is a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago's MFA Music Composition for the Screen, graduating in June of 2016. Her quirky and unique style works well in any genre. She frequently works on many projects with  co-composer Alexa L. Borden.
