Leah Curtis scored the acclaimed Australian Sundance thriller KILLING GROUND, praised as a "first-rate score" by Variety. Awarded a Fulbright, and former visiting film composer at USC SMPTV, her music has received nominations from APRA, seven from the HMMA, with wins for Fawaz Al-Matrouk's Kuwaiti set TO REST IN PEACE and historical epic EXITUS ROMA, across best score and song. Her work has been featured in marquee festivals in Dubai, Cannes, New York, and at the Aspen Music Festival. She works out of Los Angeles and North Park, California, writing, orchestrating, and conducting music for international cinema, as a music producer, and scoring epic short-form branded content with her filmmaker collaborators. She is a 2024 recipient of the Reel Change Grant from New Music USA.
